Breanna Hendrix
Breanna Gabriella Hendrix, aka babriellah, is an Afro-Latinx painter and sculptor currently based in Bakersfield, CA. She graduated from CSU Bakersfield and there received her Bachelor's degree in Studio Art, as well as a minor in English Literature. She primarily works with acrylic paint and readymades to create her paintings and sculptures. Her artwork is a reflection of what she has experienced in the past and what she sees in the now. Breanna's art is recognized as nostalgic and colorful, as she works with pop culture, bright hues and bold lines. She is mainly inspired by elements of her culture, her family, and growing up in the 90s. Breanna asks everyone who views her art to have an open mind and let yourself feel !feel happy, sad, angry, excited...feel whatever needs to be felt.
